Lauren Hayden is owner of Hayden Resources LLC, a Dallas based financial services company providing simple to complex strategies to financial planning needs of families and closely held businesses. Prior to starting Hayden Resources in 2009, she was a financial advisor at Mass Mutual Financial Group since 2006. She frequently holds planning workshops and speaks on macro and micro economic issues affecting personal finances.

Prior to starting a career in financial services, Lauren completed a bachelor's degree in Economics at the University of Maryland in 2005. She consistently takes steps to continue learning by taking Dale Carnegie classes, and other professional coursework. Prior to college, she completed five years of an active military duty with the United States Navy. Her military experience taught a wide variety of life's most important lessons and contributed in a significant way to developing the discipline and ambition to start her own company.

Lauren's professional contributions include serving as President of the Outlook Positive Express Network, a thriving Dallas chapter of the American Business Women's Association from 2008-2010.  She was honored as the chapter's 'Woman of the Year' in 2008. She is also very involved with the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and currently serves on the NAIFA Dallas board as Membership Director and was a past director from 2008-2010. She was named NAIFA Dallas Young Advisor of the Year in 2008.

Lauren has a rich history of community service as a Core Volunteer with Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity for two years. She is a Whole House Crewmember working on various construction projects each Saturday. She is an avid marathon runner participating in local races, and is an avid reader, political blogger, and military history enthusiast in her spare time.
